Flavours
Intense ruby red colour with purplish highlights. Nose features red fruits (cherries, blackcurrants, raspberries), blackberries, coffee, mild tobacco and pepper. The palate is fresh and full. The tannins provide a wonderful structure. -
Best served with
Drink on its own in the company of good friends or pair with a barbecue, grilled red meat, stews, roast chicken, pasta, Saltimbocca or even grilled tuna.
Extra info
A very complemetary blend which can be found in Aragon, Catalunya and Languedoc-Roussillon. Both varieties feel very comfortable in dry, warm climate. Garnacha stands for the cherry-red fruit and freshness, Mazuela for the deeper purple colour and the tannins.
